One of the more popular knives we used to make was the Camp MUK. This was the medium size out of three in the M.U.K. series, which stands for Modern Utility Knife. Its our take on the Nessmuk design of George Washington Sears. Our new version will feature A2 tool steel in 1/8 thick stock with a flat grind. It will have an OAL of 7 3/4 and a cutting edge of 3 5/8. This design lends itself readily to camp kitchen chores, game prep, or most cutting tasks. The scales are attached with chemical and mechanical means. We use a 2-ton epoxy and fish eye bolts with a brass lined lanyard tube.
