The LT Wright Knives Gen 3 is a "super heavy duty" knife designed to handle the roughest and toughest of outdoor tasks. At 12 inches long, it is a scaled-up version of the very popular Genesis knife. It is a very "beefy" knife with 3/16" thick steel, yet the design allows it to do finer work so not only does it baton great, but making feather-sticks is a breeze. The Saber Grind allows for excellent control when doing fine and precise tasks as you can tilt the blade to get just the right angle of cut. The 6.5 inch blade provides a lot of cutting area and it is a wood batoners dream.
The Gen 3 excels at wood prep, delimbing, food prep, fire craft, camp chores, carving, and large game prep. It is also adept when using the sharp 90 degree spine for things like debarking a stick or scraping a ferro rod. The handle is 5.5 inches long providing a lot of area for those with large hands and when wearing gloves. The handle has a large girth which fills the hand and provides a solid grip.
